Timeline, expectations, and info about backer surveys for L&B: 2nd Edition!

First off, thank you to everyone who pledged! You've made this a significantly greater success than 1st Edition and I'm thrilled beyond measure. The massive outpour of support that came in during the final two days really blew me away.
So, to make sure everyone is on the same page about what's next, I want to highlight some important details about what to expect in the coming months! First, Kickstarter is now in the midst of charging all of the backers for their pledges; since there's so many pledges and quite a bit of money to process, this can take about two weeks to complete. If, after the two weeks, there are any complications and your pledge has not been fully processed, please message me directly! With a bit of verifying I'm sure we can come to an arrangement that suits you!
As for the Kickstarter's post-campaign activity, there will of course be stylized and excitable updates, including previews for page designs, artist spotlights, and features for any newly designed artwork (including the all new wallpaper all backers will be getting!), but also very important essential announcements that will affect all backers, specifically ones getting shipped items.
The most notable updates to keep an eye out for will the ones involving the backer surveys. I'm currently planning for backer surveys to be sent out near the end of this month, and backers will have approximately four weeks to complete their surveys. Depending on your pledge tier, your survey may include options like deciding which cover you want for your printed book, what name you want featured as a name dedication, or what you'd like as your custom portrait. Once the surveys are sent out, it is imperative that backers fill them out and submit them within the four weeks. The results of the surveys directly impact exactly how fulfillment proceeds (for example, how many of each version of the book to have printed, ensuring the high-end custom art prompts are received early enough for them to be finished and featured in the book, etc), so failing to act on your survey on time can impact the fulfillment of your rewards! I can't emphasize enough the importance of submitting your survey on time, since that is what guarantees you'll be getting what you've paid for!
Since the surveys are so integral, I will be posting a preview of the surveys ahead of time for all backers to have a look at, so everyone should know exactly what to expect once they're sent out and to gauge any feedback folks might have.
To help keep strong visual track of where Lordran & Beyond: 2nd Edition is in terms of fulfillment, backers can expect a convenient and pleasing looking roadmap that will be continuously updated throughout the next several months! Backers for 1st Edition will likely recall a similar feature, and the roadmap for 2nd Edition will operate identically. This will begin being included in updates near the end of this month.
