It's taken months, but the whole haul is finally here! Since they're here, I've given a final 48 hour notice to backers that their mailing addresses will be locked in. If your address was previously locked in, or you don't need to change your mailing address, there's nothing to worry about.
If you have add-ons for your pledge that were selected from the surveys, including extra books or the Eileen pin, those add-ons will be charged tomorrow. With all of those steps out of the way, fulfillment will begin with complete locomotion this week.
Once again, everyone has been so patient and understanding while several parts of the world are still reeling majorly from supply chain and resource woes, but the full run of L&B 2nd Edition, and the reprinting of 1st Edition, are finished printing and on their way! I'm not going to pin down a precise date for when rewards will begin shipping just in case there's any hang-ups or delays with the shipping process (which did happen last time with 1st Edition), but I do feel extremely confident that fulfillment for backers will begin in less than two weeks.
To coincide with wide spread difficulties like the paper shortage, other crowd-funded campaigns and projects (namely board games, from what I've seen) have suffered horribly price-hiked costs associated with production and especially shipping. Even if fulfillment shipping prices end up higher than what was charged for backers and pre-order customers, I have no intention of displacing that upcharge onto you folks. If you paid to back or pre-order 2nd Edition months ago, the shipping price you agreed to pay then (or did already pay, for KS backers), will be your only charge.
This also means that pre-order customers should expect to see their orders charged and shipped this month, so I would double check that you've still got up-to-date forms of payment for your pre-order!

I wanted to give everyone a photographic preview of the final pins! Pictured above are the Lautrec and Siegmeyer pins, as well as the Eileen pin that was voted on and was available for a small extra charge. All pins have been manufactured, so now there's now only one bit left on the roadmap waiting to be completed:
As soon as the books have finally completed their printing (and there's quite a few to print; over 400 copies between 2nd Edition and the 1st Edition reprints!) and have shipped, you'll all be the first ones to know!
The printed proof has finally arrived, and after a few thorough readings, I have to say I'm extremely impressed with how the book has turned out. Checking out the proof for 1st Edition was already quite exciting, but I took to heart a lot of ways to subtly improve and expand 2nd Edition in terms of featured material and presentation, and I think it shows through clearly.
The full print run of 2nd Edition, along with the reprint of 1st Edition, will begin production as soon as next week. I can't wait to have everything in hand and begin fulfillment!
